Four Things I Would Save . . .

. . . if my apartment caught fire.

First, J. Of course and absolutely.

Second, my stone jaguar. Representing JaguarMoon and the first gift to me as a priestess . . . long after I began walking the path, but long before I began to lead others.

Third, my backup drive. It may not be the most recent copy of my electronic life, but it would be close enough to make a positive difference in re-building post fire.

Fourth, my “go” bag of crucial documents. (It’s in the drawer next to my backup drive, which is in the room with my jaguar. Planned that way.)

That’s it. It will even fit easily into a pillow case.

Everything else in my life is basically replaceable, or too cumbersome to save. In the latter category, I have three tubs of memories going back to my childhood down in the garage. I also have a bunch of art and Belleek that are essentially irreplaceable. But they aren’t necessary, just important.
