About JaguarMoon
Created in 2000 as a system of magickal training and personal development, JaguarMoon is an entirely virtual coven whose primary purpose is to teach Witchcraft in a non-threatening manner. We are committed to being an inclusive and safe space to anyone who walks within liminal spaces. We welcome all genders, shapes, lovers, and socioeconomic status; that which some might call Other.
We do not believe witchcraft has a ‘One True Way’ and so our lessons provide the student with a broad variety of information and perspectives. We expect our students to draw their own conclusions as to what works best for them. At the very least, the student will end their year with us feeling comfortable with every aspect of basic Witchcraft. Hopefully, they will also be able to discern the difference between someone who knows what they are talking about and a BS artist.
The Art of Ritual class is a year-long curriculum designed not only to
ground the students in a thorough understanding of magickal fundamentals
but also to explore how a variety of different traditions go about
their practices, in part so that the students can make their own
decisions about their future path but also in part to make sure that, no
matter what path they end up choosing, different practices won’t feel
so “Other” and foreign to them.
Our secondary purpose is to expand the understanding and acceptance of virtual religious groups, specifically those with a pagan focus. We do this in a variety of ways, including creating a stable, healthy, coven.
